We started
this business in 1997 and have been
working with small businesses and their
needs for technology ever since. Part of
what is special about our business is
the diversity of our clients. We have
such diversity in
business types that we are
constantly learning.
Most all
projects we do are done on a project
basis rather than an hourly rate. This
allows you to have a full scope of the
work and the price, before you spend
money. For those times we do invoice on
an hourly basis we only charge $65.00
per hour for web work, computer services
or software training. Web
programming such as .asp or .aspx or
e-commerce is invoiced at $75.00 per
hour.
Invoices are due and payable within 10
days of the invoice date and it is
important this is adhered to. Part of
the reason is that these payments help
us keep our prices down.
We always
spend time with a new prospect to learn
about them and their business. We take
comprehensive notes and from these
develop an Interview Form to use as we
develop a written proposal. It is
important to know the proposal is just
that, a proposed set of steps to
complete your project. We are always
open to discuss and change the proposal
so it fits your business and your
vision.
After we arrive at an acceptable
proposal we initiate a written agreement
that spells out the details of the
project. This is so both parties know
what to expect from the other one. We
follow the wise adage, "if it is not
written down it was never said".
Upon receipt of a signed agreement and
the required 75% deposit, we start work
on your project with the utmost
diligence. Once you decide to do the
project and invest your deposit we know
you are most anxious to see it finished
and we will make that happen as quickly
as we can.
When we have the site outline finished
we will post it to an Internet server
under the TeamBTS.com web site
(www.teambts.com/yoursite) so it will be
accessible to you for review and
comments. You will have the chance to
review the site anytime you wish during
the construction process and we
encourage you to take good notes of
edits you want. Prior to launching your
site on the Internet we will ask for
your set of notes because our pricing
only includes ONE final edit of the
site. We are happy to keep making edits
to the site, but they will be invoiced
as an extra at $65.00 per hour.
Once the final edit is completed and you
approve the site, we will submit the
final invoice to you for the remaining
25% of the web site design. After
payment is received for this invoice we
will publish the web site to the proper
location, www.yourcompany.com.
As we move ahead in any of our projects
and we discover things that need to be
changed or added to the scope of the
work, we provide you with a Change Order
which is a document that appends the
original agreement. Again, the intent is
to be perfectly clear on what was agreed
to and by whom so we avoid all possible
misunderstandings. Please remember, our
primary objective is to provide you with
a quality product at a reasonable price
so we can develop a long-term
relationship with you.
